Web sites have twelve basic types, they are Portal( Web site that offers a variety of services from one), News( Contains newsworthy material), Informational( Contains factual information), Business/Marketing( Contains content that promotes products or services), Educational(Offers avenues for formal and informal teaching and learnig), Entertainment ( Environment with music, videos, games,etc), Advocacy( Cause, opinion, idea).
